Homework Club Volunteer position

Monday nights is a special night for the children who live on Dacian Road in Raleigh. Mentoring is a life changing event for the child and the mentor.  Twenty students are picked up, taken to N2N 1200 S Blount Street for mentoring from 7-8pm.  They are given help with their Homework with one on one mentoring. Building self esteem in the kids is a high priority. We have the children, mentors and drivers and volunteers make a light snack dinner.  We are seeking an organized, flexible and innovative person who will Co-ordinate the activities by becoming acquainted with the parents and children, send short emails to mentors and coordinate subs as needed.


We need someone who loves children with an educational background, communication and organizational skills.  The time commitment would be about 21/2 hrs per week.  Please consider joining our dynamic, caring, faith based leadership team.
